About MAT

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School - national or international - can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. The largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT will continue to be your passport to over 600 B-Schools across India.

MAT 2020:

Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline.

Mode of Test: Candidate can take MAT as
(i) Paper Based Test (PBT) or
(ii) Computer Based Test (CBT) or
(iii) Both PBT & CBT

Registration Fee:

For Paper Based Test (PBT)- Rs 1550/-

For Computer Based Test- Rs 1550/-

For Both PBT & CBT- Rs 2650/-

MAT Score is acceptable even to certain other Institutes for considering admission of candidates for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma programmes, besides the above Institutes, subject to specific cut-off marks and other admission parameters.

Exam Pattern:

All Sections consist Equal marks. The score of General Knowledge will not be considered while forming the merit list.
